Becoming a Qualified Medical Assistant


The Comprehensive Clinical Medical Assistant program from the Training Center of Central Texas provides the hands-on training, real-world experience and dedicated support it takes to pursue a rewarding healthcare career and get started in this essential field, without years of schooling.

As a successful graduate of the Comprehensive Clinical Medical Assistant program, you’ll be eligible to earn 5 different certifications, including:

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • Phlebotomy Technician
  • EKG Technician
  • Medical Administrative Assistant (MAA)
  • CPR/BLS Certification

In 2024, our Comprehensive Clinical Medical Assistant graduates achieved a 100% pass rate on the CCMA certification exam.

Hands-On Training and Externship


Medical Assisting is a hands-on, direct patient care position, and at the Training Center of Central Texas, that’s how it’s taught. At the end of your program, you’ll complete a 160-hour externship in a medical facility where you’ll work with real patients and healthcare providers.
